Explore photographic techniques beyond traditional methods, learning about historical processes, camera-less photography and experimental approaches. Students will be encouraged to think about what happens when we let go of photographic rules.

Each week, you’ll respond to creative prompts designed to disrupt routine and invite discovery—sometimes through the camera, sometimes beyond it.

This is not a class about technical perfection. It’s about exploring what photography can be, not just what it has been. Expect to question your habits, embrace mistakes, and build a collection of unexpected, compelling images.

No experience necessary—just curiosity, a camera (of any kind), and a willingness to play.
