This introductory course provides a practical foundation in drawing objects and environments using
linear perspective. Students will learn how to create the illusion of depth and three-dimensional space
on a two-dimensional surface through one-point, two-point, and three-point perspective systems.
Emphasis is placed on understanding horizon lines, vanishing points, scale, and proportion, as well as
observing how perspective operates in everyday spaces. Through guided exercises and sketching from
life and imagination, students will develop the skills to construct believable forms and spatial
compositions. No prior drawing experience is required; the course is designed for beginners and
anyone seeking to strengthen their spatial drawing skills.
